Excellent. I already sold my PS4 Pro so this is good news.
We know. The problem is that 2080ti is not representative of Xbox Series X capabilities.
Lol that's what has you excited? A 5 year old laptop can play Vegas 2 at 60fps.
I get the complaint about all their games being 3rd person, but to compare something like Spider-Man and GOW is asinine. Sure, on paper they're open world, 3rd person, "action" games, but they really couldn't be more different.
Same with Last Guardian vs Order 1886. 3rd person, narrative based games, but one is almost a puzzle game with a weird AI and the other is a by-the-book cover shooter, albeit with pretty graphics.
No, EA had right of first refusal for Respawn. Someone else was trying to purchase them.
It's really not like that.
If you purchase a car, then you own that car. If you purchase a game, then you are granted a license to use that game, but you never actually own it.
I'm the opposite. I don't own MW, but I do play Warzone and so I have to download the ENTIRE GAME even though I don't have access and have no plans to purchase.
@Wulfer
The same way their last game Blair Witch was exclusive to PC and Xbox?
@Silly gameAr
I call them non-existent. I've never played a game that wasn't more fun with a better framerate. High fps isn't going to make a shit game good, but it makes every game better.
On second thought the South Park games actually better at 30 IMO, but that's only because it makes them look like more like the show. There's probably a few more examples of this, but it still only applies to 0.00001% of games.
You realize those 1 hit kills require perfect timing, right? Us playing at home will not look that easy and simple.
Actually higher fps makes games more fun. When you have more visual data you have higher fluidity and therefore better controller response.
@Darth
You realize using UE is not free, right? So Sony can use it and pay royalties or rely on their highly experienced engineers to improve their existing engines and pay $0 in royalty. Seems like a no brainer to me.
1. It is 60fps on PS4
2. Publishers don't care about actual rendering resolution. Both Crash and Spyro were marketed by Activision as 4K, because technically your TV is receiving a 4K input.
I'm not trying to be rude, but is that confirmed? Yes, I saw the table and the DF video discussing their work porting it.
I mean is it 4k AND 120fps AND RT? Or are there going to be different modes?
Like 4K/120, 4K/60 with RT, etc.
Good news. There's a mod for that, even uses the console interface. But surely you already knew that. You are, after all, commenting in a thread about Mass Effect mods...
This, but inverted for me. PS5 is for exclusives.
You're just flat out wrong. MS has specifically stated that it is up to the publisher's discretion. Ubisoft is onboard with Valhalla and CDPR is onboard with CP2077, but it DEFINITELY not going to be every game.
@ocelot07
Are you seriously trying to say a 1060 and 1200x are playing Origins and Odyssey at 1440p60?
Because one of two things is happening here. Either you're talking about AC games older than those or you're delusional.
@CharlesTGG
You know what that's called? It's called Crossbuy and PlayStation has had it at the publisher's discretion for literally YEARS.
GoT and CP2077 have a disadvantage in that they're open world.
